General Terms and Conditions:

  1. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion applies to principal cardholders (“Cardholders”) of Citi Ultima Card, Citi Prestige Card, Citi Plus® Credit Card, Citi PremierMiles Card, Citi Rewards Card (except for Citi Rewards UnionPay Card), Citi HKTVmall Card, Citi Gold Card and Citi Classic Card issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”) (“Eligible Cards”). Birdie Mobile Limited (“Merchant”) may reject an Eligible Card if their payment system cannot handle some of the Eligible Card types, please contact the Merchant for details.
  2. Unless otherwise specified, the promotion is valid from 00:00am on November 24, 2023 to 11:59pm on April 30, 2024, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”).
  3. Cardholders must purchase product(s) and offset the spending on “Birdie Mobile App”(“Birdie Mobile App”), Birdie Travel SIM’s website (https://www.birdie.com.hk/birdiehome) or “Birdie Travel App” (“Birdie Travel Platform”) of the Merchant.
  4. Cardholders must fill in a valid email prior to transaction on Birdie Mobile App or Birdie Travel Platform.
  5. Cardholders are required to settle payment in full with Eligible Cards during the Promotion Period to enjoy the respective offers. For the avoidance of doubt, the promotion is not applicable to the following types of transactions: any transactions that are subject to cancellation, charge-back, return of goods and/or refund; any autopay, unposted transactions or any other payment transactions as specified by Citibank from time to time; all payment via eWallet or third party payment applications/ platforms (include but not limited to Payme, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, WeChat Pay and AlipayHK), reloads of e-Wallet or Octopus Automatic Add-Value Service; or any other type of transaction as determined by Citibank from time to time.
  6. Unless otherwise specified, the offers cannot be used in conjunction with other special promotions, discounts or promotional coupons, nor be withdrawn as a cash advance, transferred or exchanged for cash or other offers.
  7. Unless otherwise specified, the offers in this promotion cannot be used for the same Citi Pay with Point redemption.
  8. Unless otherwise specified, all amounts will be counted in Hong Kong Dollars.
  9. Availability of the offers is subject to offer or service availability, account status checking and final acceptance by Citibank and the Merchant’s absolute discretion. Photos, product specifications and prices are for reference only.
  10. Citibank will determine the eligibility of Cardholders to participate in this promotion, as well as the transactions, based on Citibank’s records.
  11. In case of any fraud/abuse/reversal or cancellation of transactions in respect of which the offers were awarded, Citibank reserves the right to debit from the Cardholder’s credit card account or (as the case may be) bank accounts the equivalent amount of the offers without prior notice.
  12. Cardholders’ accounts must be valid and with good credit record during the Promotion Period and the fulfillment period in order to be eligible to receive the offers, otherwise Citibank reserves the right to forfeit the offers without prior notice.
  13. Cardholders must keep and submit the relevant original card sales slips and original merchant sales receipts and/or other documents for inspection upon request by Citibank. All documents submitted to Citibank will not be returned.
  14. Citibank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the related products or services provided by the Merchant. The Merchant is solely responsible for all obligations and liabilities relating to such products or services and all auxiliary services.
  15. Citibank and the Merchant reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions without prior notice.
  16. All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of Citibank and the Merchant.
  17. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.

"Citi Pay with Points Reward: Earn Birdie 2-day ‘Asia-12’ Travel Day Passes" Terms and Conditions:

  1. During the Promotion Period, Cardholders are required to make a Single Net Transaction (as defined in Clause 26) with HK$30 or above of Travel SIM at Birdie Travel Platform or Travel day passes at Birdie Mobile App and offset the transaction upon HK$30 or above with Citi Pay with Points within 90 days, at Birdie Mobile App or Birdie Travel Platform to get a 2-day “Asia-12” Travel Day Passes code (valued at HK$30) (“Asia Travel Data Reward”).
  2. Each Cardholder can enjoy Asia Travel Data Reward unlimited times with Eligible Cards, but subject to a quota of 2,750 each calendar month (which will be updated at 00:00am on the 1st day of each calendar month and ends at 11:59pm on last day of the month (Hong Kong Time), or when the quota is fully consumed, whichever is earlier.) available on a first-come-first-served basis while the quota lasts. For quota availability, please refer to the designated landing page (designated page in Birdie site https://www.birdie.com.hk/mobile/citi2023) for details.
  3. Cardholders are required to maintain sufficient available Citi Points of equivalent value of at least HK$30 in their Eligible Card accounts in order to complete the Citi Pay with Points redemption to enjoy the offer. The offer is subject to “Citi Pay with Points” Terms and Conditions.
  4. The Asia Travel Data Reward will be credited to the email of the Cardholder within 15 working days upon the successful Citi Pay with Points redemption. Birdie will determine the eligibility of Cardholders to receive Asia Travel Data Reward based on its records at its sole and absolute discretion. Citibank shall not be responsible for any matters in relation to the Asia Travel Data Reward fulfillment arrangement. For fulfillment issues or disputes, please contact Birdie’s customer service.
  5. The corresponding Asia Travel Data Reward is valid for activation until December 31, 2024, and the validity of the Asia Travel Data Reward is 180 days upon activation.
  6. If the Citi Pay with Points redemption or the Cardholder’s Birdie account is terminated by the Cardholder or Birdie for any reason, any unused Asia Travel Data Reward will be forfeited without any form of refund.
  7. Limited to the first successful 2,750 Citi Pay with Points redemption on Travel SIM spending per calendar month to enjoy Asia Travel Data Reward while stock lasts.
  8. A “Single Net Transaction” applies to the final amount of a single transaction after deduction of all applicable discounts, reductions and value of cash vouchers. Unposted/ cancelled/ refunded/ falsified/ unauthorized transactions are excluded.

 

"Citi Pay with Points" Terms and Conditions

  1. Citi Pay with Points Redemption Service (“Service”) applies to Principal Cardholders (“Cardholders”) of Citi Classic Card, Citi Gold Card, Citi HKTVmall Card, Citi Rewards Card (except Citi Rewards UnionPay Card), Citi PremierMiles Card, Citi Plus® Credit Card, Citi Prestige Card, and Citi Ultima Card issued by Citibank (Hong Kong) Limited (“Citibank”) (“Eligible Cards”).
  2. This Service is applicable to the Single Net Transaction (as defined in Clause 3) Cardholders made at the official website (https://www.birdie.com.hk/birdiehome) and/or mobile applications of Birdie Mobile Limited (“Birdie Online Platform”) with an Eligible Card (“Eligible Transaction”).
  3. A “Single Net Transaction” applies to the final amount of a single transaction after deduction of all applicable discounts, reductions and value of cash vouchers. Unposted/ cancelled/ refunded/ falsified/ unauthorized transactions are excluded.
  4. To enjoy this Service, Cardholders must verify their identity by providing their mobile phone number that has been registered with Citibank, as per Citibank’s last updated record, to receive a One-Time Password, and the identity verification will be confirmed upon the One-Time Password is correctly entered. Cardholders can select the amount to redeem with Citi Points (“Points”) and complete the redemption under the Service.
  5. The Service is valid immediately after performing the Eligible Transaction. In any case Cardholders exit from Birdie Online Platform voluntarily or involuntarily including but not limited to network disconnection, technical device malfunction or unexpected outage on Birdie Online Platform, during any of the steps illustrated under Clause 4, Cardholders will not be eligible to enjoy the Service and will require to make another Eligible Transaction at Birdie Online Platform to enjoy the Service.
  6. The amount of Points redeemed for statement credits will be deducted from Eligible Card account. Cardholders may redeem up to Eligible Transaction amount in full with Points or available Points at Eligible Card account (whichever is lower). Cardholders must redeem a minimum amount, which is subject to the minimum required Points shown in the Citi Pay with Points page under Birdie Online Platform for each redemption. Statement credits will be posted to Cardholders’ Eligible Card account within 7 calendar days of redemption.
  7. The redemption rate varies by credit card types and may change from time to time. The exact redemption amount and points required are based on the display at the Citi Pay with Points page under Birdie Online Platform at the time of Redemption.
  8. Cardholders must promptly update Citibank of any change to mobile phone number. Citibank shall not be liable to any Cardholders or anyone else for any losses or damages arising from the Service.
  9. The Service cannot be cancelled, returned, exchanged or traded for cash or other promotion.
  10. If under any circumstances Cardholders return or cancel the Eligible Transaction, any associated statement credit will remain on Cardholders’ Eligible Card account and Points will not be returned.
